Another downside, the menu at the on-site restaurant didn't have many options, especially during off-hours. Still, I would come back for the overall luxury and its gorgeous setting.

castilla termal monasterio de valbuena was a lovely getaway. we enjoyed the incredible breakfast, and the spa was a highlight with its various thermal pools. the location is perfect for a run along the duero river, and the area is stunning. the thermal area was impressive with more than 20 unique sections that massage your back and neck!
